Mehran Khodabandeh

I am, currently, a PhD student in computer science at Simon Fraser University under supervision of Prof. Greg Mori, expecting to graduate soon. I am interested in developing simple yet effective machine learning algorithms that are applicable in practical domains such as computer vision.

I did a number of amazing internships during my PhD at tech companies such as Google Reserach (Seattle), Microsoft (Redmond), and D-Wave (Burnaby). I also lived for almost one year in Japan, where I was doing a reserach internship at National Institute of Informatics (Tokyo).

I was lucky to recieve my M.Sc. under supervision of Prof. Greg Mori at SFU.

Before moving to Canada, I was living in Iran, where I recieved my B.Sc. degree from Sharif University of Technology.
